Delete your account
You can ask for your OS FOR SCHOOLS account to be deleted: a parent, pupil or staff login, on the website or the phone app. Your school gave you the account, so the school's own records stay with the school.
Two ways to ask
In the app: Settings, then Delete my account.
Here: fill in the form below. We reply to the email or phone number you sign in with.
What happens
- Within 30 days we remove your login and the personal details on it, such as your email address and phone number, and tell you when it is done. You can no longer sign in, and your phone stops getting the school's notifications.
- Kept by your school: the school's own records, such as a pupil's marks, report cards, attendance and fee receipts. Schools must keep these; ask your school about them.
- Copies in our weekly backups are replaced within 90 days.
